Illustrator for over 10 years, visual aspects of day to day life have always fascinated me. That and a knack for taking things apart and reassembling them since a child, pleasant images as an end didn't cut it for me: I had to know the inner workings of our visual culture. And that's why I became a graphic designer.
Uniting my interest in graphics and the interactions people have with them, in 2011 I started studying and eventually making games for mobile and web platforms. Through Catavento Games, a company founded with a group of friends, I made my way through 24 and 48 hour jams, pet projects, a keynote and workshop on game design at São Paulo Campus Party 2012 and eventually contract work for major Brazilian media outlets such as UOL and Abril. I eventually drifted away from games in favour of other artistic mediums in my personal work, but not before taking with me critical skills used in modern web development such as animating, programming and user interface design.
From there on I took the more "traditional" aspects of graphic design as a profession, working as a full time multitasking designer for EQQO/WiseCase, a Brazilian LED lighting manufacturer, and a few freelance clients.
In my free time I work on independent comics, having self-published my first book in 2017.
